Swimming Season has begun

Tyler catching some waves at the kiddie pool - enjoying the shaded water in the 97' heat! Tyler has completed two weeks of swim lessons and can now do the doggy paddle exceptionally. So glad I spent money on lessons when he will not even practice the strokes.

The boys of the class are just being silly here - not quite sure what Tyler is doing there. The Boys of the class are Tyler, Jacob, Grant, Landon, and Carter. I think these boys will be friends for a very long time.
Tyler received the Dandy Dinosaur award for always pretending to be a dinosaur in class.
Here is most of the class at the performance where they sang some of the songs/verses they learned in Chapel this year. I didn't realize they would be singing or I would have brought/used the video cam instead of the 15sec. video on my camera.

Anyone looking for an adorable 5 year old that loves dinosuars, pizza, ice cream and wearing pajamas ALL the time - he is on aisle 12 at Costco!

Second Season Soccer Party

Another Soccer Season ends and there was great improvement in skills and actually having fun. I think the coach has the patience of a saint - 5 year olds do not pay attention, do not do what they are told - in fact they usually do the opposite, and have minds of their own.

Feeding the Ducks

Tyler was watching a turtle bob up and down after feeding the ducks and swans.
This one particular bird decided he was still hungry and a finger would do - he chased Tyler all the way back to the picnic table and this of course freaked Tyler out. After I shooed the bird away, I told Tyler it is important not to try to pet birds - you never know if they are hungry or not.
